This highly edited image was taken during a Sunday walk along a secluded beach near UBC while I was going to Regent College for my Masters degree. Panasonic GX-85, 150mm, f 6.3, 1/800 sec., ISO 200
On my last day at Regent in May, 2019 I went to the UBC rose garden in the evening and was treated to this sunset through the trees. These were the real colours! Panasonic GX-85, 145mm, f 5.6, 1/200 sec., ISO 400.
With the Fall colours in full glory, I ventured out to Wedge Pond in Kananaskis country to capture this image. I had walked around the entirety of the pond before I found this composition. It was made more spectacular when the sun poked through the clouds to illuminate the Larch trees for a moment. Nikon D7100, Tokina 11-16 @ 11mm f9, 1/30 sec., ISO 100.
